About us

The robotics revolution is here.

Robots are completely transforming the way we live and work—across industries and around the world.

While web developers can draw from a rich ecosystem of libraries and tools to accelerate their work, many robotics engineers are still solving the same problems over and over in parallel.

We created Foxglove to close this gap and bring robotics into the 21st century. Our mission is to provide today's engineers with the world-class observability tooling they need to iterate on their robots and bring them to market faster.

Our story

Foxglove's founding team is intimately familiar with the challenges of robotics development.

During our years working together at Cruise, we became frustrated with the status quo in robotics development. Navigating the industry's fragmented tooling landscape was clunky and time-consuming, and we knew there had to be a better way to build robots at scale.

We set out to create this new world, where robotics engineers can unlock greater developer velocity and ship robots faster. We knew such tooling could dramatically streamline development for a self-driving company. We started to build on this work and bring these benefits to the wider robotics community.

Our goal is to help robotics teams do what they do best—build robots that can change the world. By providing them with the right toolbox, Foxglove can revolutionize robotics development for everyone.
